We pursue practical professionalism in the process of project development in order to maximize its effectiveness. We strive to incorporate continuing education and learning process in our daily works and maintain a high degree of professionalism through sharing knowledge and collaborating with external partners.

Evidence-Based Approach

Socially, culturally and economically sensitive interventions and methods. We seek for an evidence based approach in global health programs for effective and efficient resource allocation. Based on the best available scientific evidence, we choose effective strategies and operating procedures to inform decision-making.

Health Systems Strengthening

GHDP systematically links main components of health systems: service delivery, health workforce, information systems, essential medicines, financing, and leadership/ governance to foster efficient and sustainable public health environment. Ownership in coordination with policies, systems, and structure of partner countries or communities are major considerations in proceeding with GHDP’s projects.

Community-Based Approach

Respecting core value of the Declaration of Alma-Ata in regards to Primary Health Care (PHC), GHDP seeks for community-based approach, aiming community led and community participated process, with special consideration for cultural, social, and economic context.

Integrated and Holistic Approach to Public Health

Recognizing the limitation that a fragmented, vertical health project can not ensure sustainable health of an individual or communities, we structure a project with an integrated approach that address the underlying determinants of health such as behavior change, structural causes of diseases, and environmental and socio-economic factors in conjunction with biomedical solutions.
